Novum Membranes fabricated and supplied 2 ETFE Air Filled Pillow atriums totalling 1,400 sq m, replacing the existing ETFE system and installing 32no 3 & 4 layer pillows with a standard outer layer printed for controlled daylight and balanced solar performance; the enhanced thermal performance provided improvements over the original ETFE system provided by others.
The new ETFE roof brings high translucency, low weight, and excellent thermal behaviour – a lightweight envelope that keeps the atriums bright, efficient, and low-maintenance.
