This Work
Novum Membranes was contracted to fabricate & supply 5 ETFE pillows for the atrium roof at 90 Long Acre. The project involves the refurbishment of an existing office building located in the Covent Garden area of London. Novum’s scope comprises a three-layer ETFE pillow system incorporating a solar-control print, totalling 5 ETFE pillows. The steelwork includes vertical upstands designed to accommodate louvers. The works are based on an area of 12 m × 15.25 m, providing an approximate plan area of 184 sqm. Despite very tight logistical constraints due to the site location, early collaboration and planning enabled effective coordination, helping to streamline logistics throughout the project.
